Protect MAX was specially formulated to suit foaming bottles, yet maintaining all the qualities of Protect+ PLUS. There are advantages of foam over spray: less wastage, visible on treated areas, as well as increased contact time — which leads to longer protection. Benzalkonium chloride (BZK) is the active ingredient used to combat harmful bacteria and germs.

An advantage of BZK, not shared by ethanol-based antiseptics or hydrogen peroxide antiseptic, is that it does not cause any burning sensations when applied to broken skin. BZK is also recognized by the US FDA as an alternative for use in the formulation of healthcare and personal hand rubs. Studies have also shown that BZK provides longer efficacy and protection compared to alcohol based sanitizers.

Protect MAX was developed to be extra gentle on human skin. We added chamomile, Vitamin E and aloe vera extract to help moisturize and protect you. After all, skin is the largest human organ — shouldn’t we make sure to protect it the best we can?
